Questions about the Fabric
Why does it contain 5% elastane? Isn't that harmful?
The 5% elastane is what gives the tee 4-way stretch and helps it hold its shape wash after wash without affecting breathability. This is permitted under the highest GOTS tier (95%+ organic fiber). Elastane only functions for stretch & recovery without impacting feel. Because our fabric is GOTS-certified, it's screened for toxic residues and finishes to ensure nothing harmful touches your skin.
Will it still look good, or lose shape like all my other cotton tees?
Most cotton tees sag and pill because they're cheap short-staple cotton. Ours is long-staple Giza cotton. This means stronger and longer yarn, less pilling, and color retention. The 5% elastane keeps the collar and cuffs from stretching out and locks shape in. Wash cold, tumble low, and it will look as good at wash 30 as wash one.
